Proficiency Change for “Low Readers”
The number of low readers (students correctly reading fewer than 15 words per minute) increased by 9 percentage points from baseline (2021) to endline (2022).
Proficiency Change for “Emergent Readers”
The number of emergent readers (students correctly reading between 15 and 44 words per minute) in 2022 decreased by 9 percentage points.
Proficiency Change for “Fluent Readers”
The number of fluent readers (students correctly reading at least 45 correct words per minute) in 2022 stayed the same.
